About Us
When we started in property, our vision was to provide safe, well designed, HMO properties with a great finish, furnished to a high standard for the student market. A home from home, where students would feel comfortable and happy in their environment, allowing them to grow and develop.
That ethos has never changed, we simply expanded to offer professionals the same opportunities.
We quickly realised HMOs were far more complex and time consuming than a single let or family home. As a consequence, we found it difficult to locate a specialist managing agent who would handle our properties with the personal attention and high standards we are so keen to maintain.
Therefore, we decided to manage them ourselves and built up an effective team around us. We also found tenants really appreciated a lovely place to live, excellent communication and a swift reaction to maintenance queries. As a result, they stayed longer and recommended us to their friends. This allowed us to maximise our profits, with minimum voids.
Through hard work, honesty, dedication, and reliability we have forged excellent relationships and built up a great business, expanding to cover Leicester, Derbyshire, and Staffordshire, with local knowledge in all three areas.
We then felt the time was right to offer other landlords the opportunity to eliminate tenant headaches, minimise voids and increase cashflow by working with us, and Knighton Lettings was born.
